About Us

Assistance League of Pasadena is one of the over 120 chapters of Assistance League - a national, nonprofit, volunteer organization with over 26,000 volunteers. Founded in 1936, Assistance League of Pasadena is one of the longest standing chapters.

Our vision is to be a volunteer organization that serves the changing needs of the community with energy and dedication. Last year, volunteers dedicated over 15,000 hours of service and touched the lives of thousands of people in Pasadena and the surrounding communities through their hands-on philanthropic efforts.

  • We are an active organization - believing that we can make our community better by being involved and connected. Our focus is on serving children and seniors in the community.
  • Our membership base is diverse - there's a place for everyone to contribute and we value each of those contributions.
  • Our proceeds directly fund programs in the community - the work is done by volunteers so that our funds can be put to use in the community.
